Suicide Loss Support Group Schedule for Children, Teens Available

The meeting schedule for a peer-based support group for children (ages 5-12) and teens (ages 13-18) facing the loss of a loved one due to suicide, is now available.  Beginning in September, the group will meet the third Saturday of each month from 10:30am to 12 noon at Common Ground’s administration building located at 1410 S. Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI.

The first meeting is Saturday, September, 15.

Common Ground organized this support group to provide children and teens with a safe, healthy space to share their stories with others who have experienced a similar loss.  Participation in the group is FREE but reservations are required.  To reserve a spot or if you have questions, contact Amelia Lehto, Crisis Line coordinator and Suicide Prevention specialist at 248-451-2613 or email her at alehto@commongroundhelps.org.

Common Ground extends sincere gratitude to KempKlein Law Firm for supporting this program.
