A Step Forward

A Step Forward provides a safe and home-like transitional living shelter for homeless youths ages 16-20 for up to 18 months, who are seeking self-sufficiency.  The program also provides counseling, job training, career development, educational assistance, financial subsidies and medical assistance to program participants.  For information and instructions on how to get a young person into the program, call our 24-hour Resource and Crisis Helpline at 800-231-1127.
