Spring Volunteer Training Schedule for Crisis Line, Crisis Chat & Text Set

The volunteer training schedule for a number of Common Ground’s programs and groups has been finalized for the spring.  To participate in the crisis line volunteer training, volunteer Crisis Chat and Text training, you must complete the application process to become a volunteer before the training begins.  Contact volunteer coordinator Rose Chisholm at 248-451-3752 or Rchisholm@commongroundhelps.org for more information on how to apply.

The location for all the training listed below is Common Ground’s Administrative Offices, located at 1410 South Telegraph, Bloomfield Hills.  All training sessions are lunch-in.  Please plan to bring your lunch for every session.  A refrigerator and microwave are available.

All classes  are mandatory before answering the Crisis Line unless excused or rescheduled by the instructor.   A minimum of three (3) observations of the Crisis Line is mandatory during training. For more information, contact  Cheryl Ross  at 248-451-2614 or CRoss@commongroundhelps.org
