At the Common Ground Legal Clinic, attendees can receive free consultations, informed recommendations, and referrals from volunteer licensed attorneys. Direct representation is not available.*
All legal issues are welcome, and even if there is not an attorney on-site who specializes in a particular area, we will do our best to connect the attendee with resources or referrals for additional legal assistance.
As much as is possible, we try to adhere to a first-come, first-served policy. No appointment necessary. Please bring all paperwork with you. A crisis counselor is generally on site (subject to availability) to meet with attendees as well. The time and location of the clinics, which are held twice a week, are below:

Although direct representation is not available, referrals to legal aid organizations which provide such services can be made.
Please be advised that cell phones and any electronic devices with cameras are not permitted in the building at the Thursday legal clinics. Legal advice can be given in a wide range of practice areas including, but not limited to: family, landlord/tenant, bankruptcy, probate, and criminal law. Clinics will not be held on federal holidays.

Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, there will be no legal clinic sessions this week. Next week, the clinic will resume normal operations.
