International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is November 19th
International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is an annual community gathering that brings together suicide loss survivors seeking comfort and understanding as well as individuals seeking to share stories of healing and hope. The program starts at 10 a.m. with a welcoming from Karen Marshall of American Indian Health and Family Services. There will be a screening of the documentary, Life Journeys: Reclaiming Life after Loss, which shows the path from grief to healing after a suicide loss. After the film, there will be peer group discussions. After discussions have concluded, there will be a session of Art Therapy from 12:15 p.m. until 2 p.m.
Common Ground is hosting the event in the Conference Room at the Resource and Crisis Center on November 19th, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2:30p.m.
