Join Common Ground for the 2022 International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day at Oakland Community Health Network in Troy.
International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, coordinated across the country by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, is an event in which survivors of suicide loss come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through their shared experience.
Our event will feature a meet and greet with other loss survivors, video presentation, keynote by Amelia Lehto (Interim Executive Director & Chief of Staff at American Association of Suicidology), panel discussion, and breakout sessions for expressing grief including journaling, visual expression, and sharing stories through discussion.
If you plan to participate in the visual expression breakout, please bring a photo of your loved one(s).
The event is free to attend and guests will be provided with a light breakfast, beverages and snacks.
