Common Ground offers behavioral and mental health intervention services 24/7 at the Resource and Crisis Center in Pontiac, MI. Our Crisis Assessment team, staffed by Master-level clinicians, will assess each individual and recommend a treatment path that may include hospitalization, care from another provider or treatment in one of the Common Ground programs onsite.
On-site programs include crisis stabilization, crisis residential care, and sober support services.
- Crisis Stabilization:
Clinical triage and face-to-face assessment by our multi-disciplinary team for people in crisis including walk-in crisis services and emergency department assessments & referrals. - Crisis Residential Care:
Recovery oriented, short-term, voluntary psychiatric care, which includes medication management and monitoring, nursing, group therapy, art therapy and discharge planning for recovery. This Unit is an alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization. - Sober Support Services:
Staffed by paramedics and peer support specialist, our Sober Support Unit is a voluntary 24-hour program designed to monitor, coach, and connect adults with low health risks, to detoxification services and follow-up residential substance use treatment.
